Chairman of the Exporters’ Union of the province:
Khorasan Razavi exports have not been cut off
ISNA / Khorasan Razavi The head of the Exporters’ Union of Khorasan Razavi Province said: “There are some restrictions in the field of exports and all issues related to Corona are observed, so exports have decreased, but not stopped.”
In an interview with ISNA, Mohammad Hossein Roshanak, regarding the situation of the province’s exports during the Corona era, said: “Currently, the province’s exports are not zero, they have decreased, but they are still more or less in progress.”
He added: “Food has not been exported for a long time. Regarding other goods, although restrictions have been imposed in our country, quarantine has not been done, but in some of our target countries quarantine has been established, so they cannot take goods, but we can.” To some extent, during the holidays, we coordinated with organizations and departments related to the field of exports, most of which were present at the railway station and the export site.
Roshanak continued: “Our target market cannot bring goods from any country, and the situation is not such that Khorasan’s target markets, such as Central Asia and Afghanistan, can supply goods, just as they cannot do this anywhere in the world.” Currently, trade around the world is in a state of stagnation.
“Currently, non-food exports to Afghanistan and Central Asian countries are on the rise, and more or less it is moving, but it is low,” he said. There are some restrictions on exports and all issues related to Corona are met, so exports have decreased, but not stopped.
The head of the Khorasan-e-Razavi Province Exporters’ Union said: “Our plan is to study the consequences of the problems that have arisen in the post-crisis period and to be able to supply the target markets, because we do not know how long Corona will last.” As long as we do not apply 100% quarantine for 15 days, this will continue and then decrease, but it will take some time. We are now planning to launch and pursue non-food exports as soon as possible.
“The effects of corona on exports are not clear to us,” he said. It is postcoron. The committee is currently conducting these studies and is planning production, exports, economic issues, losses and future assistance.
